Imperfectly perfect. You know when you're reading YA books and you wanted to go directly to the part where the boy and the girl meets and see for yourself their chemistry and then they fall in love and wishing that the ending won't be very superficial? Well, Holding Up The Universe is not.
All the characters are real to me. Somewhere in this world is Libby. Bullied because of his/her weight but found his/her real and beautiful self. Somewhere in this world is Jack. Scared to death that he/she can't live a normal life because of prosopagnosia but never lost what he/she truly is.
All of us can be Libby or Jack, Libby and Jack. I think the lesson I've learned in reading this is only you makes you. You will find your place in this universe so live your life to the fullest and never regret.

Book Review: All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
4.7 out of 5 stars
Lately, I'm finding myself reading books that have suicidal/ mental illness/ depression topic in it. I guess the reason behind it is I'm suffering from it as well. And the reason why I'm reading these kind of books is that I want to feel hope from the characters and to have more insights regarding this question "Should I or should I not kill myself?"
I was actually surprised and a little angry that Finch killed himself and that makes you think if love is truly enough for someone to stay. But at the same, there are really people who takes matter by their own hands. I still think that taking my own life is one of best options to stop the pain. But before it is only my option. Now I have lots and one of it is to just live.

Book Review: Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
5 out of 5 stars
I was so emotional after reading this book. It was so heartbreaking yet it was written so beautifully and unselfishly. I love all the characters. I love how Lou discovered things about herself. How you can love irrevocably and how to grow from it. At first, I really don't know how to feel about Will's decision and I still don't know what to feel after reading the book. Is love not enough? Then I realized that we have our own choices in life, selfish as it might be to others.

#RADventurous Me
I never had an adventurous spirit. Climbing mountains or doing an adventurous things is never easy. There were times that I thought of giving up. "I can't go on anymore. The trail is difficult for me. The trail is too dangerous. I can't do it!" All the time I was scared to be hurt. I didn't really know how I started to climb, how I started to do "brave" things. Maybe when I encountered those unfortunate accidents and when my Lola passed away when I started to think that life is too short to miss beautiful and exciting things life can offer.
I learned so many things during my travel. From camping and staying overnight in a mountain with rain outside, eating straight from the can, carrying almost 60 liters of bag, cooking rice using butane gas, rock-climbing with and without rope, wake-boarding, slipping so many times because of either loose soil or slippery rocks, sand-boarding, learning how to swim in deep sea, and so many things I never imagined myself doing. I know it's nothing compared to some people but these are my accomplishments I'm proud to share. :)

Don't stop going to places you've never been to. Even to places you already know. There are many new things that needs to be discovered. Don't listen to people stopping you to go to an adventure. Life is an adventure. You just need to keep forward amidst the obstacles.
